Terms of Service
Welcome to Coursecast ("Coursecast", "we", "us"), a product of SH. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and web app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Coursecast is a content-creation tool that drafts training courses (outlines, narration scripts, key points and knowledge checks) from source material you provide. Drafts are generated with AI and are meant to be reviewed, edited and approved by you before you use or publish them.
2. Early access
The Service is currently offered free of charge as an early-access product. Features, daily usage limits and availability may change, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We may limit or suspend use that looks automated or abusive.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for that organisation.
4. Your material and your drafts
You keep ownership of the material you upload ("Inputs") and of the drafts you generate and finalise ("Outputs"). You give us a limited licence to process your Inputs only to provide the Service. We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train AI models.
You must have the rights needed to use your Inputs, and you must not upload sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or government ID information) or other people's personal data unless you are allowed to share it.
5. AI-generated drafts
Outputs can contain errors, omissions or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing them, for their accuracy and fitness for your audience, and for the courses you publish. Coursecast does not provide legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringing, to attempt to break or overload the Service, or to get around its usage limits. You also agree to follow the usage policies of our AI provider, including Anthropic's Usage Policy.
7. Paid plans
Nothing is charged during early access. If we introduce paid plans, prices and billing terms will be shown before you buy, plans will renew until cancelled, and our Refund Policy will apply.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and name, belongs to SH. These Terms do not give you any right in our intellectual property other than the right to use the Service.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. You can stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend access for breach of these Terms.
