PDF to course
Turn a PDF into a narrated training course
Drop in a handbook, policy document, guide or report and get an editable course draft — outline, a narration script for every lesson, key points and knowledge checks — in a few minutes.
Free during early access · No account needed · We don't keep your files
How it works
- Upload your PDF (up to 40 pages, 8 MB). Coursecast sends it to Claude as a document, so headings, tables and layout are preserved — no messy copy-paste.
- Set the shape: audience, number of lessons, lesson length and tone.
- Claude drafts the course: an outline first, then each lesson with a spoken-style narration script, key points, and multiple-choice knowledge checks with explanations. Anything your PDF doesn't cover is flagged in review notes instead of invented.
- Review and export to Word, Markdown, narration scripts or JSON — or print to PDF.
Good PDFs to start with
- Employee handbooks and onboarding packets
- Policy and compliance documents
- Product guides and release notes
- Reports and white papers you're turning into internal training
Scanned PDFs that are images of text may not read well — a text-based PDF works best. Only upload material you have the rights to use.
FAQ
PDF to course
What size PDF can I upload?
Up to 40 pages and 8 MB. For longer documents, split them or start with the most important section.
Does it just summarize the PDF?
No — it restructures the content into lessons with narration scripts, key points and knowledge checks, and flags gaps rather than padding. You edit everything before you use it.
Is it free?
Yes, during early access, with a few drafts per person per day. See Pricing.
