Training sources often include internal policies and procedures. Before uploading them to any AI tool, ask the vendor these questions. We've included Coursecast's current answers.
1. Do you keep my files?
Coursecast: No. Your file is read to make the draft and discarded when the request finishes. The draft is saved only in your browser.
2. Which AI provider processes my content, and do they train on it?
Coursecast: Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic's commercial terms don't allow API inputs or outputs to be used to train its models. Anthropic may keep API data for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring, as described in its privacy policy.
3. What do you log?
Coursecast: For each drafting request we log technical details such as time, a hashed IP address and file type and size, not your content. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
4. What certifications do you have?
Coursecast: None yet. We're an early-access product and we won't claim certifications we don't hold. See Security & trust for what we do today.
5. Who owns the output?
Coursecast: You keep ownership of your inputs and outputs, per our Terms.
6. What shouldn't I upload?
Coursecast: Sensitive personal data, or material you don't have the rights to use.
